Main rules and regulations

1. BASIC PRINCIPLES


1.1. “EV MISSION 2026” (hereinafter – the Event) is an organized car tourism competition with various additional tasks that allow you to get to know your country and at the same time compete for valuable prizes.

1.2. Event format – Participants travel by car according to their chosen route, freely navigating the Game map, searching for points and simultaneously completing additional tasks. The Game map and all tasks will be available on the “Questory” website (web application) (hereinafter – the Game).
1.3. Event Participants must comply with the Road Traffic Regulations of the Republic of Latvia (hereinafter – RTR), the laws and regulatory enactments in force in Latvia and the requirements of these Regulations, as well as comply with the lawful requirements of the competition judges and police officers.

2. OBJECTIVE AND TASKS




2.1. To promote public understanding of and interest in electric cars as an environmentally friendly and efficient mode of transport.

2.2. To showcase electric cars as a sustainable mobility solution by reducing emissions and environmental pollution.

2.3. To popularize a healthy and active lifestyle in society, showing how diverse the opportunities are.

2.4. To create a unique event for electric car owners – for bringing together friends, families, and work teams.

2.5. To determine the most successful and most knowledgeable “EV MISSION” teams of the Baltic States in 2026.


3. RALLY ORGANIZATION


3.1. The Event is organized by SIA “SOFART” in cooperation with SIA Questory (hereinafter in the text – the Organizer).

3.2. The Event is run by the competition directorate and a team of judges approved by the Organizer:

4. ORGANIZER


4.1. Assumes responsibility for drafting the Event Regulations, creating the Game website and preparing the tasks, as well as for the rest of the competition organization, and performs all other actions related to the competition implementation process.

4.2. Assumes the transportation and installation of all necessary equipment at the event venue.

4.3. Ensures the work of qualified judges and staff.

4.4. Assumes the conclusion of contracts with various companies that will guarantee the necessary service and comfort for Participants.

4.5. The Organizer arranges the Awards Ceremony program.

4.6. The Organizer reserves the right, if necessary, to make changes to the regulations, the course and timing of the competition, and the Game tasks.

5. EVENT PARTICIPANTS


5.1. Only ELECTRIC CARS are allowed to start in the Event.

5.2. Any Participant may take part in the Event, but the driver/pilot may be any Participant who holds a driver’s license of the appropriate category. Each team personally assumes responsibility for having the necessary documents present in accordance with the RTR.

5.3. The number of persons registered in a team is 2–4 (hereinafter – the Team). There may be more passengers in the car – as many as permitted by the Vehicle Registration Certificate, but the Game website will be available to 2–4 Team Participants.

5.4. The team captain must be an adult.

5.5. Only persons who have reached the age of 18 may participate in the Game. Minors may participate in the Game only accompanied by parents or an authorized adult. The team captain is responsible for compliance with the conditions of this clause.

5.6.  Persons under the influence of alcohol or narcotics may not participate in the Game.

5.7. The Organizer reserves the right to limit or increase the maximum number of Teams. Planned number of teams – 100 teams from Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.

5.8. Each Participant is fully responsible for their actions during the event, the consequences caused thereby, and the damages incurred.

5.9. During the Event, Participants themselves assume responsibility for themselves, their property, life and health, as well as for damage caused to the property, life or health of third parties as a result of their actions. Each Participant is responsible for ensuring that the chosen route and/or actions correspond to the abilities of the whole team. The completion of any task must be based on the Participants’ own choice and critical assessment of possible risks.

5.10. Game Participants agree that any possible errors in the operation of the Game website and in the tasks are an integral part of the Game.

5.11. The Participant waives any rights of claim and undertakes not to raise any property or other claims or demands against the Organizer and/or other Participants for bodily injuries, damage to health or property, and any losses incurred during the Game.

5.12. Participants have the obligation to fully compensate for losses that have arisen for the Organizer, other Participants and/or third parties as a result of the actions of the respective Participant.

5.13. By registering for the Event, Participants grant the Organizer the right, itself or by authorizing third parties, to take photographs of Participants, video and other audio and visual recordings, as well as to collect, store and process information about Participants in text, audio and visual data formats. If necessary, the Organizer is entitled to transfer the said information to related companies, as well as to other third parties. The Organizer has the right to use the aforementioned information and data in the Event’s advertising campaigns. Copyright, distribution rights and other proprietary rights in relation to the photographs, recordings and other information obtained belong to the Organizer.

5.14. By registering for the Event, Participants grant the Organizer the right to process team data, edit, view and transfer team data to third parties for determining the Game results.

5.15. By registering for the Game, Participants agree to the transfer of data to the “EV MISSION” Organizer to ensure the flow of information necessary for the Event and communication.


6. LOCATION AND TIME


6.1. Time: The Event will take place on 26 September 2026.

6.2. Event start location: AKROPOLE RĪGA (Latgales iela 257, Latgales priekšpilsēta, Rīga, LV-1019).

6.3. Start and finish time: Participants will receive the Game start password during the Morning Brunch and the pre-start meeting. It will be possible to complete the Game tasks on the Game website from 12:00 to 17:00.

6.4. Team movement: Event teams plan their own travel route. The main goal of the Game is, while observing the RTR, to collect as many points as possible.

7. CAR


7.1. Only ELECTRIC CAR class vehicles are allowed to start in “EV MISSION”.

7.2. The Event may be entered with any make and model of electric passenger car or passenger minibus that complies with the RTR and CSDD requirements.

7.3.  Cars must have a valid technical inspection (TA) document issued by CSDD.

7.4.  The car must have a valid OCTA motor third-party liability insurance policy until the end of the Event.

 7.5. The car must be equipped in accordance with RTR requirements (first-aid kit, warning triangle, fire extinguisher, spare tire). Everything must be securely fastened in its place.

7.6. Participants themselves assume responsibility for the presence of all necessary car documentation and its compliance with the RTR and other rules during the Event.

7.7. Participants assume responsibility for equipping their car in accordance with the RTR and other rules during the Event.


8. APPLICATIONS AND PARTICIPATION FEE


8.1. You can apply on the website: www.evmisija.eu until 25.09.2026 at 23:59.

8.2. The team participation ticket can be purchased on the FIENTA ticket sales platform

8.3. After purchasing the ticket, information for accessing the Game will be sent.

8.4. Participants or any third parties are prohibited from unauthorized access to Event Participant data, modifying it, or in any way interfering with the course of the Event.

8.5. An application without 100% paid participation fee is for informational purposes only.

8.6. The Organizer has the right to refuse a Team’s participation without explaining the reason for refusal. In such a case, the participation fee is refunded in full. Refusal to participate in the Event is not appealable.

8.7.  Participation fee:

Price indicated excluding VAT (value added tax).



The participation fee includes: provision of the registration system, morning brunch, joint start, preparation, creation, programming and technical management of the Game, compilation of Game results, basic technical support, judges’ work, free photo gallery and video recap, awards ceremony (DJ, prizes, technical support, performances, decoration, expo, welcome drink, etc.) and other organizational expenses.


8.8. If a Team has applied and paid the participation fee and withdraws from participation by 04.09.2026 – the participation fee is refunded in full; if withdrawing by 10.09.2026 – 50% of the participation fee is refunded; in other cases the participation fee is not refunded.

8.9. The Organizer has the right to refuse participation to a team that has applied and paid the participation fee after the maximum number of crews has been reached. In this case, the paid participation fee (if paid) is refunded.

8.10. In case of Team disqualification, the participation fee is not refunded.


9. JUDGES AND PROTESTS


9.1. The chief judge draws up the Event program and is responsible for ensuring that the Event takes place in accordance with the Regulations. The chief judge leads and assigns competition judges and the secretariat.

9.2. Protests regarding the course of the Event (not the results) must be submitted to the chief judge in writing on the day of the Event (26.09.2026) by 18:30.

9.3. When submitting a protest, a security deposit of 200 EUR must be paid to the Competition Secretariat. If the protest is fully upheld, the money is refunded to the protest submitter.

9.4. After receiving the necessary documents, the chief judge examines the case on its merits and makes a decision within 60 minutes. All interested parties are informed of the decision.

9.5. All disputes and disagreements between Event Participants are resolved by the chief judge and the panel of judges approved by them. The chief judge’s decision is final, not subject to appeal, and binding on all Event Participants.



10. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR SMART DEVICES:


10.1. The Game takes place using smartphones on an online website (web application).

10.2. After purchasing the ticket, Participants will receive the team’s unique Rally Game access link on the “Questory” website. All team Participants will be able to connect to the game using one shared link. Additional registration on the Game website is not required.

10.3. Participants will have the opportunity to connect to the Game website before the Game to make sure it works correctly on their devices and that their smart devices meet the technical requirements:

  10.3.1.  The Game may not work on Apple mobile devices with an iOS version older than 14.

  10.3.2. The Game may not work on Android mobile devices with an OS version older than 13.

  10.3.3.  The latest version of your browser (we recommend Safari, Chrome or Samsung Internet).

  10.3.4. постоянное internet connection. If you have a limited mobile data allowance, please monitor your usage during the Game.

  10.3.5. Charging options. Devices must ensure uninterrupted play for 7 hours (of which 5 hours are the Game and 2 hours are the time after the Game to get to the finish location and the awards location). We recommend bringing car charging cables, external batteries (power banks) or spare devices.

10.4. Additional apps:

   10.4.1.  You must be able to send photos and videos via Telegram or WhatsApp messenger.

   10.4.2. GPS and maps. Apple, Waze, Google Maps or other navigation apps will help you navigate.

10.5. The Game Organizer assumes no responsibility for poor mobile operator coverage and the technical suitability of devices during the Game.



11.  THE ESSENCE OF THE GAME:


11.1. The Game takes place on 26 September 2026. Game tasks can be completed from 12:00 to 17:00. The Game duration is 5 hours.

11.2. Teams will be able to submit answers to Game tasks on the Game website only from 12:00 to 17:00. After 17:00 it will no longer be possible to submit answers and the Game will be closed.

11.3. At the specified time, Participants enter the Game website and receive a digital map with marked points. Upon arriving there, Participants must answer a question or complete a puzzle task. For a correctly completed task, Participants receive the specified number of points.

11.4. To answer a task, you must first get to the indicated location, taking along the smartphone of the team Participant who has GPS tracking enabled. To submit an answer, mobile network coverage is required. In case of weak network coverage, it will not be possible to submit an answer. At each location, all team Participants must arrive together and complete the task together.

11.5. Splitting up the team is not allowed. If the team splits up, it will be disqualified.

11.6. All team Participants can connect to the Game website, which means that several Participants can use the Game and solve tasks simultaneously. Any team Participant may answer a task, but only the first submitted answer will be accepted. For each task, the team may submit an answer only once.

11.7. During the Game, teams will have to complete the following tasks: Photo Hunt, Geo Quiz, Puzzle, Challenge (descriptions and the points system are available in the Appendix). Each task type has a different number of points, depending on the amount completed.

11.8. There are no mandatory tasks.

11.9. The team plans its route and strategy to earn as many points as possible within the limited time by completing tasks in a freely chosen order.

11.10. The best result will be considered the highest number of points earned during the Game.

11.11. If several teams have the same number of points, the higher position in the overall ranking will be taken by the team that reached that number of points faster.

11.12. During the Game:

11.12.1. Participants undertake to observe the principles of fair play (Fair Play).

11.12.2. It is prohibited to cause physical or material damage to objects used in the Game and to the surrounding environment.

11.12.3. Participants are strictly prohibited from obtaining information about the game content or the content of its levels by bypassing the independent completion of a specific current task of the game. If such receipt or transmission of information is detected, the team may be disqualified.

11.12.4. It is prohibited to enter or drive into private property. All objects are visible from streets and public places.

11.12.5. Participants must notify the Rally chief judge about withdrawal from the Game.

11.13. Results will be published on the Game website and will be available to all teams after the awards ceremony.


12. AWARDS:


12.1. The first three Teams are awarded prizes prepared by the Organizer.

12.2. The Organizer reserves the right to also award individual Teams at its discretion.

12.3. Sponsor Teams, employees of companies representing the prize fund, and persons associated with the Organizer cannot claim the first three places at the awards ceremony.

12.4. On site, during the closing Event, a draw of several valuable prizes will take place. Prizes can be received only by those teams that are present on site at the Event venue.


13. ADVERTISING:


13.1. Any type of advertising activities of companies or organizations not согласованные with the Organizer at the Event and related events are prohibited. Penalty – 1000 EUR and Team disqualification.

13.2. Participants have the right to place advertising stickers (advertising of the represented company) on their car, provided they do not conflict with moral standards, do not cover the Event emblems and numbers, as well as the Event Organizer’s sponsor advertising, if such has been provided.

13.3. The inclusion of a company or organization name or brand in the Team name, stickers on the car, and advertising on Participants’ clothing is permitted.


14. OTHER RULES:


14.1 Compliance with and observance of these rules is mandatory for all registered Event Participants. Ticket purchase and registration for the Event is considered each Participant’s consent to these rules. By registering and participating in the Event, Participants confirm that they have read the Event rules and regulations, understand them and agree to comply with them without limitations and conditions.

14.2. By registering for the Event, Participants confirm that they have ознакомились with the Event Regulations, the Game rules and other necessary documents related to the course of the Event.

14.3. The Organizer has the right at any time to amend and supplement these Regulations, and such changes take effect after their publication in the app and on the Event website www.evmisija.eu

14.4. Decisions on situations not provided for in the rules are made by the Event Organizer.

Examples for reference. In the real game, other types of riddles and challenges may be used. Each task type has a different number of points, depending on the amount completed. This will be clearly indicated on the game website.
